Glimpse Intuitive Skin Care by Xango has officially launched and the testimonials coming in are, to say the least, amazing. I knew that Xango couldn’t and wouldn’t develop anything less than spectacular, that delivered results and that would keep the customer coming back for more. Afterall, they did it the first time with the Xango juice!

But this is about the skincare. And we don’t have to say anything. Take a look at the pictures below and let the results speak for themselves. If you or anyone you know are interested in purchasing some GLIMPSE, so that you can look GREAT for the Holidays, cruise on over to my website or give me a call, and I can have it to you by the end of the week. Consider purchasing GLIMPSE as a gift for those you love. Throw away all the skincare products you are using, (best bet is they are not good for you—look them up at http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/) and start treating yourself and those you love with a product your skin deserves.

Beauty begins from within, and now that we know what we put on our skin goes within, my opinion is there is no better product out there than GLIMPSE!

GLIMPSE has now launched and is available for order. I have taken the following from our packet of information to save myself some time as my phone is ringing and my inbox is filling up with orders, but I wanted to make sure all of you had this information in your hands.

•The trend across the world is wellness. XanGo, the world category creator of the whole fruit Mangosteen juice now brings its power of health and wellness to skincare with GlimpseTM Intuitive Skin Care. Once again, XanGo is first to market, delivering the power of the mangosteen to a cellular level for the skin. GlimpseTM features a phytonutrient rich xanthone formulation developed by XanGo through scientific exploration and advanced skin nutrition technology which is now being brought to the marketplace for the first time. GlimpseTM is designed to intelligently nourish and repair your skin with a unique and natural approach that will lead the industry of wellness. Intuitive skin care that knows what your skin needs.

•XanGo has recruited some of the most prized skin care experts to work for you. This team’s collective expertise and years of experience led to the creation of our superior xanthone rich formulas. We have gone to the ends of the earth, traveling thousands and thousands of miles to exotic Thailand where our nutrient rich Mangosteen is harvested. The pericarp peel then travels to the ancient island of Japan accessing legendary scientific technology bringing you the very best in skin nutrition. GlimpseTM, infused with the secret of xanthone, features BioActive X3 our new scientific discovery with 3 patent pending processes, and just like our juice is first to market.

•Its powerful life force brings vital activity and energy to your skin delivering xanthone to the cellular level stimulating collagen to maximize your skin health. BioActive X3 is cultivated in Japan through an innovative bio-fermentation process of the Mangosteen pericarp peel. This amplifies its purity, potency, and energy far beyond traditional scientific processes, multiplying the xanthone efficacy. Men and women alike will discover the superior benefits of skincare infused with our BioActive xanthones. The science rivals any available in the world. What we have is a unique combination of a product that is performance driven and yet incredibly green and clean. It is exclusively yours through GlimpseTM, Intuitive Skin Care.

Beauty from within

•GlimpseTM has been meticulously formulated to encompass pure botanical ingredients. To realize this full strength, 100% of the water in GlimpseTM is Mangosteen concentrated water infused with pure Mangosteen pericarp peel during the first step of the formulation process. We use a gentle cold bio-fermentation process, which very few companies make that level of investment in their product. This process allows a gentle transfer of all the nutrients in the fruit. The result is a partnering between potent and powerful green, pure, whole nutrients and an experience that is luxurious and of the highest quality.

•GlimpseTM, Intuitive Skin Care, with our scientific blend of exclusive xanthone complexes from our mangosteen, BioActive X3, helps naturally renew, repair, and resist skin damage.

•The BioActive x3 complex supercharges the cells and then gives them gas. The pericarp oil is an incredible technology because it solves one of the major troubles in skin care … getting nutrients to the cells. The pericarp oil is a breakthrough delivery system by which these nutrients reach the cells. Most skin care is an artificial effect on the surface of the skin. GlimpseTM is driven from within as it renews and awakens the cells and causes skin cells to behave young again.

•There is nothing added as fluff, fillers, or fragrance to make it have an artificial effect of the surface and just feel nice. Every ingredient is at active levels and is put in to GlimpseTM for a healthy skin benefit.

•We are what we eat, drink, breathe, and absorb. People are realizing the dangerous effects of toxins and allergens hiding everywhere.

•Healthy, energized skin begins with a daily regimen designed specifically for your individual complexion needs. Our GlimpseTM brand will provide two skin care regimens. System I for normal to dry skin provides a creamy cleanser, a topical xanthone spray, a nutritious xanthone serum, and a rich xanthone moisturizing cream. System II for normal to combination skin includes a refreshing gel cleanser, a topical xanthone spray, a nutrition xanthone serum and a moisturizing xanthone lotion. All feature the powerful BioActive X3 Complex. Both systems work synergistically with XanGo Juice and 3SIXTY5 delivering internal and external wellness. We have created a new category of topical supplementation that is matched only by our industry changing internal supplementation.

Dying to Look Good!

This is the name of the latest book I have read about what’s really in our cosmetics, toiletries and personal care products. The book is written by Christine Hoza Farlow, D.C. and is a quick read, for those of us with limited time on our hands.

It gives some great information and lists ingredients along with their harm factor. This takes up a majority of the book and can be tedious to go through and the author does suggest we start making a habit of reading all labels, but again, back to the time factor.
So what I love about this book is that there about 50 pages that actually list where to buy safe products. Broken down by different groups, like shampoo, deodorant, skin care, pets, children, etc. Makes for a much easier process of finding products that are safe to use and we don’t have to worry about reading labels.

I just have to get our skincare line Glimpse listed at their website, dyingtolookgood.com where they put updates to the list.

Anyway, you may be thinking it is going to cost more to buy cleaner, nontoxic products and you are probably right, the cost may be higher, but better to pay the cost with your pocketbook then with your life. That is the route I am taking. And let’s face it, this isn’t really just about us anymore. It is about our future and our earth and making it a safer place all around.

Although I am mostly a positive forward individual, we must be made aware of the dangers that are in our skincare products. And although negative, there is a solution.

Studies reveal that every single one of us is contaminated with scores of synthetic chemicals
that are known to be toxic.

In a 2005 Skin Deep report, research found that 33% of personal care products were linked to
cancer, 45% were found as possibly harmful to the reproductive system or baby’s development
and 60% could act like estrogens or disrupt hormones.

Toxic chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects and learning disabilities do not belong in products
we use on our bodies.

Once again it leads to the regulation or lack thereof on the cosmetics industry. This industry is self-regulated and in my view is looking out for the bottom line and not for our safety.

Go the to Environmental Working Groups websites at http://www.ewg.org or visit http://www.aforwardglimpse.net to find out what you can do to protect yourself.

Change We Need!

Change We Need: The campaign slogan for Obama/Biden for this years presidential election.

I wrote an article at my Freedom Blog www.theresagiambrone.com about the above slogan as it pertains to the network marketing industry and as I completed that article it dawned on me that it also applies to the cosmetics industry.

We do need change, not only in making sure the cosmetics industry does not regulate itself any longer, but also that they make changes in what they put into the products that we all use on a daily basis and in all reality that we put into our bodies.

Xango, LLC based out of Lehi, Utah, has been a leader in the networking industry when it comes to change. Over six years ago that created a category and were first to market a nutritional beverage made with the whole fruit puree of the mangosteen fruit, found in Thailand. This November 2008 they are ready to make a huge change in the skin care industry with the launch of their new line, again made with the mangosteen fruit, called GLIMPSE Intuitive Skin Care TM.

Glimpse Intuitive Skin Care is green, clean, non-toxic skin care. When it comes to change, let’s show the cosmetics industry we will not be treated this way and make a personal change and begin using Glimpse Skin Care. It is just one of many steps needed to be taken to make huge change in the cosmetics industry. But the movement has already begun, we only need to continue it, and by switching to a new non-toxic product, that works with our own skin, and is good for us, we are moving in the right direction.

For further information on what is in your products visit: www.cosmeticsdatabase.org or visit www.aforwardglimpse.com and request a free report. A good book to pick up is Not Just a Pretty Face written by Stacy Malkan.

You and Your Future!

If you are following along with any of my articles, on the green movement, non-toxic skincare, and the new product launch of GLIMPSE, then you know I said I would include some websites and books where you can go and do your due diligence on the cosmetics industry, the ingredients they use, how they regulate themselves and how we, as individuals need to be responsible for what we put on our skin and into our bodies as well as learn about being more green.

Well here are just a few:

Books: Not Just a Pretty Face
Beauty to Die For
Gorgeously Green
Dying to Look Good
Consumer Dictionary of Cosmetic Ingredients

These are just a handful of books and websites. By checking them out you can learn more. Again, it goes back to being responsible, for yourself and for future generations.

Skincare and Aging!

In this blog I would like to address skincare and aging as it pertains to me, from a personal perspective. What does skincare and network marketing have to do with each other. Plenty and to find out read on. I realize some of you will relate on a very deep level while others will have their own stories. This is my story, but I do welcome yours. I am 43 years young and never really concerned myself with makeup in great detail. When I was a teenager I did wear makeup, eyeliner, blush, lipstick or gloss (sometimes both, YIKES!) and eye shadow. It was the cheap stuff, but I am sure I thought I looked great. I didn’t need mascara as I had very long lashes. I tried different foundations but could never find the right color for myself and it always looked like I had some on, so I just gave up. I was more in the natural category, and thank goodness I had pretty nice skin. I wasn’t prone to too much acne, a few here and there, but nothing a little stick of cover up wouldn’t fix.Once I got into my twenties, I had my skincare regimen down pat. I didn’t have any one sharing tips with me, as my mother came from Europe and didn’t wear makeup at all. I worked fulltime and graduated to the more expensive cosmetics. Looking back now I can’t believe I paid $25 for a tube of Mac lipstick. I used Mary Kay cosmetics as my daily cleansing but was able to mix and match from different companies my blush, eyeshadow and eyeliner. The next twenty years are a bit of a blur – I had four kids, three girls and one boy – I worked parttime in real estate and later went full time. And if you can relate, makeup was not a huge issue with me, and I went back to the cheaper stuff. Here I am in my forties, and my first clue that my skin was aging, and not gracefully I might add, was taking a look at my two teenage daughters. Man, their skin was beautiful. I know I probably shouldn’t compare my skin to theirs, but c’mon, it’s hard not too. So I went from someone that paid no attention to someone that gave it their full attention.I started looking for products to help me with smile lines, crows feet, wrinkles, tightening creams. I became almost obsessed with it. Trying Loreal, Revlon, Roc, etc. Nothing worked or at least I didn’t think it did.The book “Not Just A Pretty Face” seemed to be gaining some notoriety so I picked up a copy to shed some light on the cosmetics industry. I had two emotions after reading this book, one was happiness. I was happy that I didn’t use lots of cosmetics and skin care products in the past and two, fear. Fear of where was I going to find a safe, natural skincare product to return me to my youth. A green toxic free skincare product that didn’t take a lot of time to use. Were any other women searching for this product?I found the answer to both of the above questions. Yes, there was a skincare product out there that was safe, nontoxic, GREEN!
